Restaurant glue-down LVP
Glue-down luxury vinyl plank installation for a restaurant using a Metro Brown flooring selection.

LVP/LVT, SPC and WPC answers around construction, wear layers, flatness, slabs, click-lock versus glue-down and repairability.
Compare total thickness, wear layer, core, surface finish, locking system, attached pad, installation method and the exact warranty. A 22-mil wear layer does not by itself establish suitability for every commercial space. Read the product's traffic classification, rolling-load limits and maintenance instructions.
SPC and WPC describe different rigid-core constructions; glue-down LVT and click-lock describe installation systems. Compare room use, comfort, acoustics, rolling traffic, repair access and substrate requirements using the exact product documents. Neither core type is permission to skip floor preparation.
Sometimes, but the existing surface must be approved by the selected product's instructions. Concrete needs product-specific moisture and surface checks; tile may need bond assessment and joint preparation. Do not assume an existing floating floor, carpet or cushioned surface is an acceptable base.
Preparation is necessary when measured dips, humps or movement exceed the selected plank's requirements. Flatness and level are different: a sloping surface can be flat, while a level surface can still have damaging bumps. The appropriate work may be grinding, patching, panel repair or a compatible leveling system.
Verify the room is an approved use, the substrate meets moisture requirements and the product suits traffic, temperature and cleaning. Waterproof planks do not make a wet subfloor safe or prevent water from reaching edges. Check whether extra underlayment is permitted when a pad is already attached.
These are conservative project summaries from the documented Final Floors project record. They are evidence examples—not claims that every property in a city has the same conditions.

Before you call, gather your city, room sizes, current material, photos of the problem, moisture history and desired timing. Ask for a written scope covering removal, preparation, materials, installation and transitions.
